The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has confirmed 22 additional cases of Mpox, raising the country’s total number of confirmed infections to 446 as of August 25, 2025.

In its latest update, the GHS noted that no new deaths have been recorded, with the death toll remaining at zero.
Currently, there are no active hospital admissions related to the disease.
Mpox, previously known as monkeypox, is transmitted primarily through close contact with infected individuals. Health officials continue to advise the public to observe preventive measures and seek prompt medical care if symptoms arise.
The GHS says it remains committed to active surveillance and interventions to curb further spread of the virus.
