Hopeson Adorye, a former member of the NPP and a prominent figure in the Movement for Change, has been taken to the Dansoman court today following his arrest yesterday morning. The Ghana Police Service apprehended Adorye after he confessed to detonating dynamite in the Volta Region during the 2016 elections.

According to sources from Onlinetimesgh.com, Adorye was initially taken to the Police Headquarters, then to Accra Central Police Station, and later held at the Ministry Police Station. The police denied him bail, and the reasons behind his detention remain unclear. However, it was reported that his arrest may involve false allegations, though specific details are yet to be confirmed.
