Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, linebacker for the Cleveland Browns, has unveiled plans to construct the Nkwa Gift and Sports Complex in Tamale, Ghana.

This initiative aims to provide state-of-the-art facilities for youth development and sports in the region.

The announcement coincides with Owusu-Koramoah’s visit to Ghana, where he is hosting a two-day NFL Flag Football Camp at the University of Ghana, Legon.

The camp, organized by his foundation, NKWA, in collaboration with Titans of Africa, has attracted over 100 young athletes aged 14 to 17 from across the country.

NKWA, founded by Owusu-Koramoah, is a faith-based organization dedicated to providing equitable opportunities and holistic education to student-athletes. The foundation emphasizes the importance of harmonizing mind, body, and spirit through the teachings of American football.

The planned Nkwa Gift and Sports Complex in Tamale is envisioned to further this mission by offering modern sports facilities and educational resources to nurture young talent in Ghana.

Owusu-Koramoah has called on government officials, including the Minister for Sports and Recreation, Hon. Kofi Adams, to support the development of such initiatives to benefit the nation’s youth.

This endeavor underscores Owusu-Koramoah’s commitment to leveraging his platform as a professional athlete to inspire and empower the next generation in his ancestral homeland.
