The National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) has held talks with officials of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) aimed at strengthening collaboration to drive innovation and entrepreneurship across Ghana.

The meeting, which took place on Monday, February 9, 2026, brought together the Chief Executive Officer of NEIP, Eric Adjei, Esq., the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Joan Selasie Ahiawordor, Esq., and members of NEIP’s management team, who paid a courtesy call on the Deputy Resident Director of UNDP and other senior officials.
Discussions focused on deepening the partnership between the two institutions, particularly in advancing the Adwumawura Programme, a flagship initiative designed to support entrepreneurship and job creation nationwide.
“Both institutions share a common vision of promoting innovation and entrepreneurship as a pathway to sustainable job creation,” the engagement noted.
Over the past two years, NEIP has collaborated with UNDP on the Young Africa Innovates Project, which has provided critical support to innovators across the country, with particular emphasis on women, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and atypical innovators.
The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of both NEIP and UNDP to continue working together to empower entrepreneurs, stimulate innovation, and create sustainable livelihoods for Ghanaians.
