The endorsement ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, January 25, at the Ejisu Central Pentecost Church in the Ejisu municipality of the Ashanti Region, marking a significant occasion within the party’s Annual Delegates Conference.
Dr. John Ampontuah Kumah, a seasoned lawyer and entrepreneur boasting over 15 years of expertise in leadership, innovation, and job creation, is set to receive official acclaim as the party’s designated candidate.
His diverse background includes serving as the inaugural Chief Executive Officer for the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP). Notably, under his guidance, NEIP played a pivotal role in providing support to startups and nurturing entrepreneurship in Ghana.
Before his governmental role, Dr. Kumah was the founding member and Managing Partner of Aduaprokye Chambers, a law firm. Additionally, he established Majak Associates Limited, a company specializing in building and construction.
His educational accomplishments encompass a Doctorate in Business Innovation from the Swiss Business School in Switzerland, a Masters in Applied Business Research, and an Executive Masters degree in Business Administration (Finance).
Dr. John Ampontuah Kumah’s academic journey commenced at the University of Ghana, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with Philosophy, a Bachelor of Art Degree (Law) LLB, and a Professional Law Certificate from the Ghana School of Law. Admitted to the Ghana Bar in 2013, he identifies as an entrepreneur by inherent inclination, a lawyer by vocation, a politician by choice, and a preacher by divine calling.
As a family-oriented individual with six children, married to Apostle Mrs. Lilian Kumah, Dr. Kumah is poised to continue contributing to humanity through his multifaceted roles in entrepreneurship, law, politics, and preaching.
