She emphasized that education remains the “great equaliser,” capable of unlocking opportunities for every child regardless of background.

“Teachers play a pivotal role in shaping the nation’s human resource base. As you step into the classroom, remember that your certificates symbolize not just success, but also responsibility,” Mrs. Awatey charged the graduates.

She urged the new teachers to embrace inclusivity, creativity, and adaptability in ensuring that no learner is left behind. She further encouraged them to leverage technology, remain lifelong learners, and uphold values of integrity, professionalism, and compassion.

The graduation was held under the theme: “Leaving No Learner Behind: Advancing Equity and Excellence Through Inclusive Teacher Preparation.”

On his part, the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye praised the College as a “beacon of knowledge, wisdom, and character development.” He reminded the graduates that the College’s mission extends beyond producing teachers to nurturing leaders who can manage diverse classrooms and inspire learners of all backgrounds.

Rt. Rev. Kwakye also encouraged the graduates to uphold Christian principles and serve as ambassadors of both Christ and the institution.
