The Movement for Change has expressed profound sorrow over the death of Apostle Kwadwo Safo, founder of the Kristo Asafo Church, describing him as a spiritual shepherd, visionary innovator, and national treasure whose life’s work transformed countless lives.

In a statement signed by its spokesperson, Solomon Owusu, the group extended condolences to the Safo family and the Kristo Asafo Church, noting that Apostle Safo’s impact went far beyond the pulpit.
“Apostle Kwadwo Safo was not only a spiritual shepherd to the Kristo Asafo Church but also a visionary whose impact resonated across the nation. His life’s work embodied wisdom, innovation, initiative, dignity, and courage of conviction, ensuring an unwavering commitment to unity, peace, and the unshakable belief that the black man is capable of competing on the world stage,” the statement said.
The Movement for Change recalled his pioneering contributions in industry, agriculture, and technology, including his role in Ghana’s Automobile Industry Plan and his groundbreaking discoveries in organic agricultural inputs and herbal medicine. These, the group noted, lifted many out of poverty and opened pathways to prosperity.
Describing his passing as a “monumental loss not only to the Safo Family and the Kristo Asafo Church, but to the entire nation,” the group urged calm, reflection, and national recognition of his legacy.
“The best way our nation can remember and continue to benefit from the great insights of the late Apostle Safo is to sustain his works with national recognition,” it stressed.
The Movement for Change assured the Safo family and the Kristo Asafo Church of its unwavering support and prayed for God’s comfort in their time of grief.
