Archbishop Charles Agyinasare, the founder and senior pastor of Perez Chapel International, has called on Christians to lead noble and honest lives during the Christmas season. In a Sunday service sermon on the eve of Christmas at the Perez Dome in Accra, the Archbishop emphasized the need for individuals to exemplify the qualities of Joseph, the father of Jesus Christ, who chose to be noble and protect the Virgin Mary despite her unexpected pregnancy.

Expressing concerns about the lack of noble individuals in contemporary society, Archbishop Agyinasare urged men to refrain from boasting about infidelity, citing the example of Joseph, who remained silent about Mary’s situation and demonstrated nobility.
The sermon, centered on family values and unity, particularly addressed the issue of marital fidelity. Archbishop Agyinasare discouraged married men from shaming their wives in cases of infidelity, advocating for a peaceful separation instead.
He further advised young women to prioritize qualities such as vision and ambition over social and economic status when considering potential partners. The Archbishop encouraged women to support men with dreams and aspirations, especially during the Christmas season when proposals may be made.
Reflecting on his own experience, Archbishop Agyinasare shared how he and his wife contributed items for their wedding, highlighting the importance of commitment and support in building a successful marriage. He lamented the trend where individuals judge their partners based on financial backgrounds, emphasizing the transformative journey he and his wife have undertaken together.
As the Christmas season promotes values of love and togetherness, Archbishop Agyinasare’s message encourages believers to embody the virtues of nobility and honesty in their lives.
