Vote Asumadu to continue Kumi’s legacy – Bawumia to Akwatia voters

Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has intensified campaign efforts in the Akwatia Constituency, urging constituents to vote massively for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate in Tuesday’s September 2 by-election.

Dr. Bawumia, who was in the constituency on Friday for the one-week observation of the late MP, Ernest Kumi, returned on Sunday to embark on grassroots campaign activities in support of the party’s candidate.

He began the day with church visitations, where he introduced the candidate to congregants and appealed for their support.

As part of his campaign tour, the former Vice President, together with the candidate, paid a courtesy call on the Kusiman Hene, Nana Ntiamoah Kusi Boadu, before engaging residents across several communities.

Dr. Bawumia urged voters to back the NPP candidate, noting that “this will allow him to continue the good works and legacy of their late MP, Ernest Kumi.”
