The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced that it will step up its revenue mobilisation operations throughout December, including during the Christmas holidays.

In a public notice issued on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, the power distributor said the move is part of efforts to ensure we mop up all arrears in the system by the end of the year, 31st December, 2025.

According to the statement, the exercise will target “all categories of customers in arrears.” ECG therefore urged customers who owe to settle their bills promptly through regular payment channels, especially the ECG Mobile App, to avoid disconnection and enjoy an uninterrupted festive season.

The company also cautioned customers to be vigilant as teams move across communities. Field officers engaged in the exercise will carry official staff identity cards, and customers are encouraged to inspect these IDs before granting access to their premises to avoid impostors.

For enquiries or assistance, ECG advised the public to contact the nearest office, call the customer service line on 0302611611, or reach out via the company’s official social media handles, @ECGghOfficial.
