NSA-2-1140x570

The National Service Authority (NSA) has officially released the first batch of postings for the 2025/2026 service year, deploying a total of 85,159 graduates from accredited tertiary institutions across the country.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, the Authority said the deployed personnel will serve in both public and private institutions as part of their one-year mandatory national service.

According to the NSA, the released figure excludes personnel with data mismatches, as well as teachers, nurses, midwives, and other special categories whose postings are yet to be announced.

“This figure excludes personnel who had issues with data mis-match and have either had it resolved or are pending review, teachers, nurses, midwives, and other equally vital categories. All personnel under the data mis-match category are to note that their placement forms part of the yet-to-be-released batch.”

The statement further clarified that the total number of postings is expected to rise in due course.

The Authority urged the public to appreciate the technicalities and procedural steps underpinning the National Service posting arrangements, emphasizing that the process is being handled carefully to ensure accuracy and fairness.

Providing further details, the NSA revealed that 150,937 students were uploaded onto its system, with 91,339 having paid for their PIN codes. Out of that number, 85,459 were verified using their Ghana Cards, while 85,159 completed their registration.

To complete the process, all prospective service personnel are required to:

  1. Check their placement on the NSA’s official website, gnsa.gov.gh.
  2. Print their appointment letter and have it endorsed by their line manager or a designated official at their place of posting.
  3. Book an appointment online for registration before the stipulated deadline.
  4. Visit designated Regional Validation and Registration Centres with their endorsed appointment letter and Ghana Card to finalize the registration.

The Regional Validation and Registration exercise will begin on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, and end on Friday, November 21, 2025.

The NSA cautioned personnel against dealing with scammers or so-called “middlemen” who claim to facilitate changes in postings.

“The Authority does not engage the services of these so-called ‘middlemen’ in its deployment exercise,” the statement stressed, urging all personnel to “accept their postings” in good faith.

The 2025/2026 national service year officially begins on Monday, November 3, 2025.

Management congratulated all deployed personnel and encouraged them to contribute meaningfully to national development.

“Management congratulates you on your appointment and wishes you well in your role in resetting Ghana’s socio-economic space.”
