Two Arrested in Connection with Robbery and Murder of MoMo Operator in Walewale

The Ghana Police Service has apprehended two individuals suspected to be involved in a robbery and assault case targeting a mobile money operator on Monday, February 12, in Walewale, North East Region.

Following a rigorous intelligence-led operation, law enforcement successfully located and apprehended the suspects at their hiding place.

In an official statement released by the police on Saturday, February 17, it was revealed that the arrested individuals, identified as Zakaria Yamusa, known as Vandam, and Fatao Issah, are alleged to have fatally shot two individuals, including a mobile money vendor, and caused injuries to seven others during the attack.
