The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced that the replacement of Voter ID Cards will commence on Thursday, May 30, and continue through Friday, June 14, 2024.
This service is for individuals who have lost their Voter ID Cards ahead of the upcoming December 7 general elections. According to a statement issued on Tuesday, May 28, the EC advised all voters wishing to replace their missing Voter ID Cards to make a payment of GH¢10 using the shortcode *222*1067#.
The EC’s statement highlighted that applicants must provide the reference code received after payment to the District Officer to facilitate the replacement of their cards.
