A tragic accident occurred near Ada West District in the Greater Accra Region, where a fishing boat capsized, resulting in one reported death.
According to the National Disaster Management Organization in the Ada West District, the incident took place on Wednesday, May 29. The boat, carrying ten individuals, experienced a leakage that caused it to sink.
Initially, four out of the ten individuals, including two Ghanaians, were reported missing. However, three persons were subsequently rescued.
One person was recovered dead, and the remains have been deposited at the morgue.
