Members of the Locked-Up Investment Holders Forum fighting for the release of funds trapped in insolvent financial institutions licensed by the Bank of Ghana, has announced the continuation of its picketing activities. The group plans to resume its demonstrations at the Ministry of Finance on Wednesday, June 12, 2024.
According to a press statement issued by the forum’s convener, Dr. Adu A. Antwi, FCA, Esq., members of the forum will gather at the premises of NDK at 9 a.m. From there, they will march to the Ministry of Finance, where they will picket until 12 noon.
The forum’s ongoing protests aim to draw attention to the plight of depositors who have been unable to access their funds due to the insolvency of certain financial institutions. The group is urging the government to take swift action to release these locked-up investments.

LOCKED-UP INVESTMENT HOLDERS FORUM CONTINUES WITH ITS PICKETING ON 12TH JUNE 2024
Locked-up Investment Holders Forum, a forum that seeks the release to depositors of locked-up funds in financial institutions licensed by the Bank of Ghana, and have become insolvent, will continue picketing the Ministry of Finance on Wednesday, 12th June 2024. Members will converge at the premises of NDK at 9 am and march to the Ministry of Finance to picket there up to 12 noon.
