Ghanaian-based Liberian-born afro-pop singer, Irene Logan, has exchanged vows with her boyfriend Joey in a traditional ceremony. Reports indicate that the “Run-away” hitmaker celebrated her nuptials on Friday (April 19).
A video shared on Instagram captured the radiant singer adorned in a vibrant green kente outfit, cherishing the beautiful and exhilarating moments of her special day. Irene joyfully danced alongside her bridal team members, all elegantly dressed in green attire and golden headbands.
About Irene Logan
Though Irene has spent most of her life in Ghana, she was born to Liberian parents. Following the loss of her father and brother at a young age, Irene’s mother remarried a Ghanaian upon relocating to Ghana. Growing up, Irene was surrounded by music, with her step-dad being a guitarist and singer, and her mother a professional singer. Irene’s musical journey began at a tender age, performing at the National Theatre with the Christian Action Faith Ministry at the age of 5. She later became a choir leader at Achimota School and went on to showcase her talents at various events, including weddings, churches, and the Miss Teen Personality 2002 pageant.
Additionally, Irene won an Opera Singing Competition and earned recognition for a Fanta song she composed with friends. She was part of the group S-Touch, alongside Salimi Akill, Richie, Ferguson, and Selassie Hanson.
