Four-year-old Samuel Sowah is in urgent need of surgery for a depressed skull fracture, a procedure that costs GH₵45,000 to save his life.
The tragic incident occurred on Thursday, June 6, 2024, when Samuel was hit by a motorcycle after his aunty picked him up from school. Despite all cars stopping, a motorcycle appeared unexpectedly and struck Samuel, who was among five children walking. The rider attempted to flee but was apprehended by witnesses. He sustained severe facial injuries.
Samuel is currently receiving treatment at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, having been transferred from the Police Hospital.
