The New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is poised to introduce his campaign team to the National Executive Committee and National Council of the party today, Monday, February 19, 2024.
Following this meeting, the names of the campaign team members are anticipated to be disclosed.
Sources within the NPP, suggest that the former Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Dan Botwe, is likely to assume the role of campaign manager for the upcoming 2024 general election.
Mr. Dan Botwe was among the ministers who recently underwent a reshuffle by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Although it remains unclear whether Botwe’s potential appointment is linked to the presidential reshuffle, insiders close to the NPP flagbearer affirm that the decision was reached after extensive consultations with the party’s rank and file.
