Former President John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is poised to submit his nomination for Running Mate today, adhering to the party’s constitutional mandate.
This pivotal step will occur during a meeting with the party’s National Executive Committee, following an earlier presentation to the Council of Elders.
John Dramani Mahama, on February 27, submitted his choice of a running mate to the party’s leadership for consideration ahead of the 2024 general elections.
Former vice presidential candidate Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang has been tipped as the preferred candidate.
In accordance with the NDC constitution, Mahama, alongside the party’s leadership, will meticulously select a Running Mate who embodies the core principles and aspirations of the NDC.
