Independent Presidential Candidate for the Movement for Change, Hon. Alan Alan John Kyerematen, extends warm congratulations to all Muslim brothers and sisters from across the country for the successful completion of a month of prayers and fasting during Ramadan.
He commends the dedication and spiritual devotion displayed by Muslims during the month of fasting and prayers, highlighting the values of sacrifice and compassion that Ramadan embodies.
“The spirit of sacrifice and the display of love for one another that characterized the Holy month must inspire all Ghanaians to appreciate the need to deepen our bonds of brotherhood and work towards a prosperous, peaceful, and united Ghana.”
Ahead of the upcoming General Elections in December, Hon. Kyerematen expresses hope that Ghanaians will choose a leader capable of unifying the nation, transcending divisions based on religion, ethnicity, or political allegiance.
“As we work towards the General Elections in December this year, it is my hope and prayer that we elect a leader who can reconcile and bring us together as one people with one destiny, irrespective of our religious, ethnic, or political affiliation.”
In his statement, he assures the Muslim community of his dedication to advancing national development and inclusivity, should he be entrusted with leadership by the will of Allah.
“I, on my part, would like to assure my Muslim brothers and sisters that if it is Allah’s will that I lead this country, I guarantee continued religious harmony within Ghana and commit to introducing transformative interventions that would improve the livelihoods and well-being of all Ghanaians.”
As the Eid celebrations continue, Hon. Alan Kyerematen calls on all Muslims to reflect on and resonate with the spirit of inclusivity and national unity during this festive occasion, looking towards the future of the nation.
