A devastating fire has razed numerous wooden structures at Circle ECOMOG in the Greater Accra region. The fire, which erupted around 4 PM, caused extensive destruction and forced many residents to flee for safety, attempting to save their belongings.
The exact cause of the fire is currently unknown, but its rapid spread indicates that the densely packed wooden structures and potentially flammable materials stored within may have fueled the intensity of the blaze.
Local authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause. In the aftermath, the Circle ECOMOG community is left to sift through the charred remains of their homes, hoping to salvage anything that survived the inferno.
