ADAM-GH Celebrates Potential Groundbreaker: Prof. Naana Opoku Agyemang Nominated for Ghana’s First Female VP

The Executive Secretary of Anchoring Democracy Advocacy Movement Ghana (ADAM-GH), Mr. Azubila Emmanuel Abdu-Salam, has extended congratulations to Professor Naana Opoku Agyemang following her renomination as the running mate to His Excellency John Dramani Mahama for the second time.

Professor Agyemang’s potential ascension to the role of Vice President could mark a significant breakthrough as Ghana’s first female Vice President, serving as a source of hope and inspiration for Ghanaian women across the nation.

According to Mr. Abdu-Salam, “he urged all women in Ghana to express their appreciation to John Dramani Mahama, the flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), by casting their votes in overwhelming numbers on December 7th, 2024”.

He highlighted the importance of supporting Professor Agyemang’s candidacy, not only for the immediate impact it could have on Ghana’s political landscape but also as a catalyst for future generations of women aspiring to hold top leadership positions in the country.

With the rallying cry, “What men can do, women can do better,” the nomination of Professor Agyemang underscores the ongoing push for gender equality and representation in Ghanaian politics.

ADAM-GH CONGRATULATES PROF. NAANA OPOKU AGYEMANG, POSSIBLE FIRST FEMALE VICE PRESIDENT, THE REPUBLIC OF GHANA 2025.

Executive Secretary of Anchoring Democracy Advocacy Movement Ghana (ADAM-GH) Mr. Azubila Emmanuel Abdu-Salam congratulates Professor Naana Opoku Agyemang for her renomination as running mate to His Excellency John Dramani Mahama for the second time. Prof. Naana Opoku Agyemang is a possible first female VICE PRESIDENT of the Republic of Ghana and the hope of Ghanaian women.
I will urge all women in Ghana to say thank you to John Dramani Mahama, flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress NDC by voting massively for him in 7th December 2024 for us to have the first female VICE PRESIDENT in Ghana.
Women who are hoping for their daughters or themselves to be Female VICE PRESIDENT or President in Ghana should help Prof Naana Opoku Agyemang to pave the way for them in December 7th 2024.
